Community Partnerships

At KEATCA, we believe we are stronger together. We build partnerships with donors, charities and institutions in Canada that work to address accessible education needs for those experiencing poverty and help to reduce poverty through education.

General Information

Partner Organizations can sponsor students at a public post-secondary institution in Canada or anywhere in the world. Grants cover only tuition fees or a part thereof for a degree, or a vocational or training program. Grants will be made for one year at a time and may be renewed.

Partner organizations can determine their timeline in receiving student applications, however the names of recommended students and all received applications must be submitted to KEATCA by 31 May each year. KEATCA Grants Committee will review recommended names, and though not guaranteed, consider submitted applications for KEATCA funding from other funds.

If you are a partner organization linked to a specific grant, such as Black Students in Canada Fund, all individual grant application received will be forwarded to you first week of May based on our Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with you.

KEATCA is building sustainable and long-term collaborations with partner organizations. If your organization is interested in sponsoring a student’s education and not yet a KEATCA partner organization, please contact us at info@keatca.org. KEATCA will establish a MOU with your organization enabling you to submit grant applications on behalf of student recipients. Partner Organizations must be deemed Registered Canadian Charitable Organizations.
